November 2025 Campaign Planner: Black Friday, Awareness Days & More

Updated: 3 days ago

November brings a serious shift in momentum. Black Friday looms, festive campaigns kick into gear, and marketers everywhere are juggling peak season prep and in-flight activity. But beyond the obvious retail push, November is packed with awareness days, seasonal shifts, and smart social hooks that can inspire creative paid and organic campaigns.

Here’s your go-to list of dates to help you squeeze every last drop of opportunity from the month.

5 November - Bonfire Night / Guy Fawkes Night (UK)

A historic British celebration, filled with fireworks, cosy vibes, and community gatherings. Ideal for brands in events, hospitality, food & drink, and retail.

Content Tip: Promote themed offers, share safety reminders, or run engaging polls around bonfire traditions (toffee apples vs. hot chocolate, anyone?).

8 November - National STEM Day (Global)

A day to celebrate Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths and to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers. Brands in tech, education, digital, or anything remotely geeky can use this as a fun and clever content hook.

Content Tip: Share how your business uses tech, spotlight female voices in STEM, run a “STEM challenge” for your audience, or celebrate your inner nerd.

11 November - Remembrance Day (UK) / Veterans Day (US)

A day of reflection to honour those who served in the armed forces.

Content Tip: If marking the day, keep your messaging respectful. A simple tribute post or subtle visual element (like a poppy) is often enough.

13 November - World Kindness Day (Global)

This is the perfect moment for some feel-good content. Originally started by the World Kindness Movement, it’s all about promoting compassion, community and small acts of kindness.

Content Tip: Encourage your followers to share kind moments, spotlight positive customer reviews, highlight your charitable initiatives, or surprise loyal customers with a little treat.

28 November - Thanksgiving (US)

A major US holiday with huge eCommerce potential, especially for brands shipping to the US or running global campaigns.

Content Tip: Share gratitude-driven content, build anticipation for Black Friday/Cyber Monday, or run US-only deals and timed countdowns.

29 November - Black Friday (Global)

It’s no longer just an American shopping event, Black Friday is now a global sales season. The UK, Europe, and beyond fully participate, and it’s one of the most competitive ad auctions of the year.

Content Tip: Run tiered offers, tease deals early with lead gen campaigns, segment your audiences, and be crystal clear with your ad copy.

2 December - Cyber Monday (Global)

While technically in December this year, your prep will begin well in advance. Many retailers now roll Cyber Monday into a full Black Week or extended promotions.

Content Tip: Use remarketing to re-engage non-buyers from Black Friday, and test urgency-led copy to drive final conversions.

Throughout November - Movember (Global)

A month-long charity initiative to raise awareness of men’s health issues, especially mental health and prostate/testicular cancer.

Content Tip: Encourage your team to take part, spotlight male mental health charities, or run limited-edition products where proceeds go to the cause.

🔹 Final Thoughts

November is fast-paced, competitive, and full of opportunity. Between Black Friday chaos and cause-led campaigns, it’s easy to overlook the “in-between” moments, but those are often where your brand voice shines through.

As you prep for peak, don’t forget:

  • Double-check your budgets and bid strategies for spikes in demand

  • Tighten up remarketing lists in advance of Black Friday

  • Be clear on your promo messaging, and localise it where possible

And if you’re already running Black Friday or festive activity, now’s the time to ensure it’s not just live, but working.
